EYELID SURGERY (BLEPHAROPLASTY)

Droopy, upper eyelids and baggy, lower eyelids affect the way others see and address you. For example, "Look at those bags -- it looks like you didn't sleep a wink last night!" These are the very problems that Dr. Kamin has written about and successfully treated for the past 25 years.

While teaching at UCLA, Dr. Kamin devised the internal "no-skin" incision approach to lower eyelid blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery) that is now being taught around the world. This procedure has eliminated the "abnormal wide-eyed" look that so frequently follows outdated plastic surgical treatment.

Dr. Kamin has also devised two unique surgical techniques to refine upper eyelid cosmetic surgery using the CO₂ laser. One technique helps insure that the crepe, upper eyelid skin at the bridge of the nose remains smooth. The second insures that the desired eyebrow height and contour are maintained.
